The concepts of health and wellness require a holistic framework. They are not found in a bottle, on an examination table, while reading a diagnostic image, or after recovering from surgery. They are not found while running a marathon, drinking a sports drink, or adhering to the latest fade diet, which usually involves eating way too much of one thing, and not enough overall to leave you satisfied. They are not captured by charts, graphs, indexes, or scales. They are not a one size fit all. Health and wellness are found in the day-to-day living of life when we find balance within ourselves and with the world. It is finding the best mix and match of nutrition, of activity, of rest, of spirituality, of positivity, of relationships, of humor, of challenge, of creativity, of industry that make you feel the most alive, the most you.
